Dr. Veronika Oross

Associate Professor, Flute

Dr. Veronika Oross brings virtuosic talent and dedicated mentorship to her role as Associate Professor at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. A masterful flutist, she served as Principal Flutist with the MÁV Symphony Orchestra for 25 years.

Her performance career spans more than 20 concertos, many preserved in commercial recordings. She has collaborated with ensembles including the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, and the European Soloists' Orchestra.

In the classroom, Dr. Oross has produced extraordinary results: her students achieved 36 top-three placements in international competitions, including 12 first prizes.

At the Liszt Ferenc Academy, she continues her commitment to cultivating both technical mastery and artistic vision in the next generation of musicians.
