About Lisztium

Our concept

Music Orestes was founded by two enthusiastic colleagues who work at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music’s International Affairs Department with the aim to introduce and bring talented and well-known Hungarian musicians to Japan. The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music has a long and rich history in Japan and with Japanese musical institutions.

We feel that young students can benefit immensely by getting to know the Hungarian musical traditions and techniques that make them highly sought after all around the world.

What we offer

The professors at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music are all highly experienced and enthusiastic mentors who always prioritize the development of their students.

By organizing 4–5 day masterclasses we aim to make high-level teaching accessible at a reasonable price, followed by a closing concert where students can showcase their progress.

During the event we also offer consultation and counseling for students interested in coming to Hungary and studying at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.
