Dr. Balázs Réti

Associate professor at the Liszt Academy and head of piano department in Miskolc.

He was born in Budapest in 1974. He graduated at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in 1998, where his teacher was Prof. György Nádor. He got DLA degree in 2007. He is associate professor at the Liszt Music Academy, Budapest, teaching piano as a main subject. He is also the head of the Piano Department at the University of Miskolc (Béla Bartók Faculty of Music) from 2008.

He played concerts abroad in France, Czech Republic, Germany (Berlin Konzerthaus), Ireland (Dublin National Concert Hall), Holland, Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Russia, Romania, USA, Mexico (Ciudad de México Palacio de Bellas Artes; Guadalajara Teatro Degollado), Peru, Chile, Indonesia (Jakarta Balai Sarbini), Japan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

He was teaching on master courses in Italy, Poland, Peru, Uzbekistan and China. In Japan he teaches regularly at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Seminar in Sapporo.
